Package Itinerary
Day 1
Colombo - Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - Kandy
After landing at Colombo Airport, you will meet and greet.
On the way, you will stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which in recent times has become extremely popular with couples. Playing with and nurturing orphaned elephants is a rather fulfilling experience for every tourist who visits the place.
You may also visit a spice garden and attend a cultural show during the day.The cultural show is famous among tourists to the hill capital, Kandy. The show is performed in the evening and runs for approximately one hour, during which the spectators are held spellbound by the colourful acts on show. Sri Lankan drummers exhibit their skills, and divers forms of dance can be witnessed, all executed with skill and enthusiasm.
From here, move further to Kandy, and visit the Gems Museum.
Thereafter, you will transfer to the hotel for a scrumptious dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
Nuwara Eliya
Commence the day with a nutritious breakfast at your hotel before you begin your onward journey to Sri Lanka’s ‘Little England’ – Nuwara Eliya. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up to begin the day’s activities.
Clean and splendid climate, incredible views of the valleys, mountains, and meadows and lots of greenery is what attracts tourist to this destination. Begin sightseeing with a visit to the Hakgala Botanical Garden (Enterance of Direct payment), which is famed for its abundant plantation of varied roses and orchids. Take a walk around the garden, and you will be captivated by its gracefulness; while you are there, don’t forget to stop by the tiny ponds and admire the water lilies and lotus.
Later in the day, you can plan a short visit to one of the many tea factories in the region and understand the production process before you enjoy a steaming cup of some of the world’s finest Orange Pekoe tea.
End the day with a wholesome dinner at a local restaurant before you retire for the night. Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.
Day 3
Colombo
Wake to a splendid morning in Nuwara Eliya and have some delectable breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Colombo.
During the city tour, you will see the most famous landmark sites like Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, World Trade Centre, Fort, Old Parliament Building, Independence Hall, Gangaramaya Temple and the National Museum.
In the evening, you can explore the city more and let your inner shopaholic loose in the enchanting markets of Colombo.
After this enriching tour, head back to the hotel, where you will enjoy a hearty dinner before retiring for the night.
DAY 4
Deparure
This day marks the end of your extraordinary vacation in the land of Sri Lanka. Enjoy a pleasant breakfast at your hotel and head to the airport for your flight back home.
